This means that many families in Fulton and DeKalb counties are only one unexpected event away from homelessness. For families in the Family Promise Program, these events range from a sudden car repair, a spike in rent costs, a loss of child support, to serious illnesses. These costs can be insurmountable for many families, resulting in homelessness.
During these unprecedented time, families with children experiencing homelessness are more vulnerable than ever. Family Promise of North Fulton/DeKalb has expanded our assistance programs for families within our program, as well as providing resources for families in need within our community. |

Family Promise of North Fulton/DeKalb serves families who are homeless, helping them get back on their feet so that they can build a stable environment for their children. This is an interfaith effort, with churches, mosques, and synagogues participating in the mission, providing volunteers, overnight accommodations, meals, laundry, showers, job search assistance, and more.

By supporting Family Promise NFD, you help change the trajectory of families’ lives. Your support of the following amounts provides:
- $100: funds winter coats for a family
- $75: funds a hotel room during the intake process
- $50: funds new pairs of kids shoes for a family
- $25: funds a meal for a family
