Wanda Hunter serves as the Program Manager for Family Promise of North Fulton/DeKalb, bringing over 25 years of dedicated experience supporting disadvantaged populations, including children, women, and men. Before joining Family Promise, Wanda served for 15 years as the Director of Social Services for a 125-bed homeless shelter in Georgia, where she oversaw programs addressing substance abuse recovery, childcare, medical support, and veteran assistance.

As a mother, grandmother, and wife, she is deeply passionate about walking alongside families and individuals as they regain stability and self-sufficiency. Wanda is especially committed to helping families understand how credit functions and how financial education can open doors to lasting independence—a mission she considers both her passion and her honor.
