Andrea Brantley

Executive Director

Andrea came to us from The Center for Children & Young Adults where she was the Director of Development, overseeing fundraising and marketing initiatives. Andrea is a Community Affairs and non-profit executive with a decade of leadership experience in fundraising, marketing, and event planning. Her specialties include corporate donorship, volunteer cultivation, annual fund, and in-kind campaigns. Andrea has expansive experience in organizational leadership, prospect research, conflict resolution and team building. Her expertise is fostering long-term donor and volunteer relationships and fund raising. She is passionate about the mission and collaborative solution of keeping families together. Andrea has one son, Miles, and lives in East Cobb. In her spare time she enjoys yoga, hiking with her rescue dog Luna and spending time with family and friends.

Wanda Hunter

Family Advocate

Wanda has over 25 years’ experience working in human services, including working with homeless and at-risk populations for many years. Formerly, she was a Director of Human Services and was responsible for operating one of the largest homeless shelter. Concurrently, she also operated a 24- bed substance abuse program for men reentering their communities.

Wanda has received several awards from state agencies. She was very instrumental in establishing partnerships with agencies, such as, Medical Clinic, Veteran Administration Services, Employment Coordinator, and Prevention Services, which were able to offer space in homeless shelters weekly or bi-weekly to those in need.

Katie Weaver

Development and Advancement Manager

Katie serves as our Development and Advancement Manager where she focuses on donor management, grant writing, marketing, and development. Prior to coming to us, Katie worked for three years under the Development Manager for Family Promise of Greater Orlando assisting with various development efforts.

Her passion for serving families in need began in college serving Second Harvest meals and spending nights with families in transitional housing units. Throughout her adult life she has helped to serve various Peachtree Presbyterian Church Atlanta based missions, chaired the Pace Academy annual auction, and led as Outreach Chairman for Friends of CHOA Morningside.

Dennis Baptiste

Bookkeeper

Dennis is a retired experienced accountant who prepares the monthly financial statements for Family Promise. He also coordinates the preparation of the Form 990 annual tax return for the organization. Dennis and his wife Sharon currently live in Huntsville, Alabama to be close to their three grandchildren.
